Did you know that our district we will soon have a Online teaching certificate program?

Are you interested in teaching online, but don’t know Moodle?

Sign up for Introduction to Online Teaching Courseware (Moodle). This is the first course for the certificate for online teaching, and will not be offered again until Summer 09.

Learn to use Moodle and set up a online course for yourself in the process. Work at your own pace, this online class is designed to accommodate your busy schedule. The class lasts for 6 weeks, and is worth three units.

This hands-on workshop will give you an opportunity to see Moodle, the new course management system at Peralta. Learn about your options for beginning to teach online. Instructors can also request a “sandbox” at this workshop to try out some of the tools in Moodle.
